The pictures below are of the new Oldsmobile big block A body headers installed in a 1970 Cutlass Convertable with a 4 speed. Note how well they clear the A arms and steering column and can easily be installed with the car supported with regular height jack stands. The headers are also tucked up as close to the floor as possible to allow maximum ground clearance and use a slip fit connector so there is no 3 bolt flange hanging down to catch on anything. Constructed of 304 stainless steel and using 3/8" header flanges makes them the longest lasting headers you can buy for your Oldsmobile. All materials and construction are 100% USA made. Now that the prototyping is finished, we are offering a series of 2" headers with 3/8 flanges, and fully welded collector for all BBO equipped 64-72 "A" bodies. M&J Proformance has entered into an exclusive manufacturing agreement with American Racing Headers to manufacture these headers for us. As everyone knows, American Racing Headers is a first class manufacturer of headers for many applications. We are taking orders for the initial offering of $635 for mild steel and $945 for stainless steel. Regular prices after the initial run will be $695 and $995.
Also for those that want their headers coated we will be offering NEW FINISH thermal coating for an additional $275.

We have now developed the strongest bottom end support system ever developed for the venerable Oldsmobile blocks. The “Bed Plate” is a one piece fabrication of interlocked and jig welded alloy steel that includes the center 3 main caps as part of the fabrication. Standard length main studs fasten the cap section to the block and ten 3/8 socket head bolts add further reinforcement by bolting the side rails to the pan rails. Available for either small or big block Oldsmobiles. A Caddilac version is also available.
Check out our oil drive rods in our Internal Components section that are machined in house at M&J PROFORMANCE. We use a fine grain tool steel that has excellent wearabiity and won't round off the corners to stick in your timing gear or oil pump drive socket.
Custom rods for Titan oil pumps are also available upon request.
Our newly introduced timing pointer has been engineered with double adjustability. This will allow it to work with a large variety of harmonic dampners including ATI, BHJ, and all stock units. Check it out in our Misc section.

Shown is Nick Durse's '70 Olds 442. Nick acquired the Olds from his father when he turned 21. With a cylinder head and cam package his E.T. dropped from 13 seconds to the 11.70s with a best of 11.68. Not bad for a street machine that is regularly bracket raced and driven to the track.
